A passive collector reads each asset's control bus and heartbeat, then aligns those claims of work against independent sources: metered power on the panel that feeds the asset, warehouse and building management systems, site sensors, and operator records. Each reading is hashed, timestamped, and signed at the edge with keys held in separate custody. A daily certificate of verified work is composed per asset, signed under two independent keys, and appended to a tamper evident log. Manufacturer telemetry is one input among five, weighted lowest because the manufacturer is an interested party.
